Support the Rural Sociological Society In addition to becoming an RSS member, there are multiple other ways to help support the activities of the RSS and its members. We appreciate your generosity! Donate to RSS Awards & Endowment Funds Your donation will help celebrate and support the activities of our members through competitive awards that recognize their achievements and support their work. Donate to Diversity Travel funds Your donation will help provide funding for underrepresented scholars and practitioners to attend our annual conference, ensuring their opportunity to share their work and engage in person with the RSS community. Donate to Student Travel Funds Your donation will help provide funding for graduate student members to attend our annual conference and become an active part of the RSS community. Donate a Gift Membership to a student or colleague Help a deserving student or colleague to become a member of the RSS by gifting their membership this year. Donate toward the Childcare Fund to help support colleagues in attending the annual meeting The RSS is working to develop a program to help defray the cost of childcare for parent members, in order to facilitate their participation at the annual meeting. Your donation will help to establish the fund for the childcare program. Donate to a RIG Your donation toward a specific RIG can help support their activities year-round.
