Assistant Professor, Marshall University
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology of Marshall University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Professor. This is a tenure-track, nine month position with a minimum salary of $46,000 for qualified candidates holding a terminal degree with an upper range commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants must have the ability to teach research methods and statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as introductory sociology and other areas of specialization. The successful candidate must be able to teach and develop classes that will contribute to the University’s general education curriculum. An earned Ph.D. in sociology is required by the time of initial appointment.
