The School seeks a dynamic leader who will build upon the strengths of the previous Department of Psychology and Department of Sociology and Rural Studies to chart a course that will elevate social science disciplines at SDSU. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing forward-thinking leadership, including strategic planning and goal setting, active participation in campus and college-based student success initiatives, intentional mentoring of faculty and staff, effective scheduling and budgeting, and thoughtful engagement with donors and other external stakeholders.
