UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (Cooperative Extension) and the Berkeley Food Institute have teamed up to hire a Project Scientist

This person will conduct an extension-based applied research program addressing policy and economic barriers, motivations, and opportunities that influence CA agricultural producers’ transition to economically viable, environmentally sustainable, regenerative, and equitable practices. This position requires a Ph.D. in a relevant field, including community and economic development, agricultural economics, political economy, development economics, rural sociology, geography or food/agriculture policy.
