2020 Rural Sociology Graduate Student Conference
Announcements

We are planning the 1st Rural Sociology Graduate Student Conference. The conference will be held virtually via Zoom on Monday, Oct. 26th and Thursday, Oct. 29th (session times to be determined later). We welcome and encourage paper submissions of research and engagement focused on rural people, places and themes from a wide range of social science disciplinary perspectives.

Abstracts: Abstracts should be approximately 250-400 words and briefly outline the purpose and theoretical framing of the paper. Where appropriate, include information about methods, data, and preliminary findings. We welcome working drafts in all stages. 

 

The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 2nd by 11:59 PM (EST). On October 12th, we will send out notifications indicating if abstracts have been acceptedProceedings will consist of Oral Presentations followed by Q&A and group discussion through Zoom. Please send all submissions to RSS Grad Reps at ([email protected]).
