The 8th Annual Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference is taking place April 20-21, 2020.
The conference offers women of color faculty, university administrators, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students a unique educational and professional opportunity to network, engage, and learn with peers from around the country.

The two-day conference features:
  • Keynote speakers Patricia Hill Collins, author, professor, activist, and Rosann Santos Founder of Latinas in Higher Education, Inc. as well as the Director of Alumni Relations at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City
  • Conference weaving with Angela's Pulse Performance Company
  • Call for Proposals: The conference is calling for workshop and poster proposals that advance the FWCA mission to connect with research colleagues, support aspirations, and empower growth and change. To submit your proposal, click here.
  •  Workshop by the National Center for Faculty Diversity & Development Led by Joy Gaston Gayles
  • The Post-conference Academic Writing Retreat will take place April 19th
  • Thought-provoking/interactive workshops
