Assistant Professor, Nonprofit Leadership and Management in Rural and Urban Communities, University of Florida
This is a 12-month tenure-accruing position with 40% teaching and 60% Research assignments in the Department of Family, Youth and Community Sciences, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, at the University of Florida. An earned doctorate in Nonprofit Organizational Management, Leadership Development, Social Entrepreneurship, Health Services Administration, Social Work Administration, Philanthropy, Community Development or a closely related discipline is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate classes and a track record of research achievement, including a current research plan in areas relevant to community based organizations is preferred. Work experience in the nonprofit sector and affiliation with appropriate professional associations is desirable.
