The Multistate Research Coordinating Committee and Information Exchange Group, WERA1010: Improving Data Quality from Sample Surveys to foster Agricultural, Community and Development in Rural America, will be meeting February 27-28, 2014 in Tucson, AZ.

RSS members who are interested in research or outreach application involving survey methodologies are invited to join the Coordinating Committee and attend its meetings. The Coordinating Committee has a long history of participation by rural sociologists and, periodically, it organizes sessions at the annual RSS meeting. Recent topics of studies coordinated by the Committee have included address-based sampling, mixed-mode surveys, item-nonresponse, and design of open-ended questions. RSS members interested in attending the meeting should contact Glenn Israel at gdisrael@ufl.edu or call 352-273-2586.
